Made in France, it meets the same standards of precision, craftsmanship, and safety as all Vandoren products. Crafted from food-contact-certified synthetic material and compliant with the EN 71-3 toy safety standard.
 
Designed with durability and practicality in mind, the traditional cork has been replaced by two silicone food-grade O-rings, providing a reliable seal and simplified maintenance. Its synthetic construction also allows safe storage directly in the instrument case without impact to the instrument, making it particularly well suited to schools.
 
With a tip opening of 100 (closed) and a medium facing length, the JUNO J5 pairs ideally with JUNO Bb clarinet reeds strength 2–3 and Vandoren Traditional reeds strength 2–2½.
