Since it was established in 1825 the French company Buffet Crampon has developed a comprehensive range of clarinets. The R13 was introduced in 1955 and quickly established itself as the clarinet of choice of professional musicians. It remains one of the most popular and widely used clarinets in its class today. Tone wise the R13 has a rich, focused sound which is evenly balanced across all registers. The hand burnished bore ensures accurate intonation and centres the tone.
