RENTAL SCHEME EXPLAINED:

              ·         Rent an instrument from as little as £8.50 per month.

·         The minimum period of rental is 3 months.

·         Three months' payment is required at the begining of the rental period

·         Convenient monthly payments are subsequently made by Standing Order, which must be set up before the instrument is taken from the shop.

·         You may purchase the rented instrument at any time after 6 months.  In this case, the equivalent of 3 months' rental will be deducted from the full price of the instrument.

·         All instruments are professionally set up and ready to play

·         Routine maintenance is free for the duration of the renatal.  However, this excludes accidental damage and replacement of strings, rosin, reeds, cork grease and valve/slide oils

·         The Rental Scheme also includes antique violins, violas and cellos.  Prices of these will vary according to the value of the instrument

·         Customers will be asked to collect the instrument from the shop and to provide proof of identity and address.  (Two forms such as a driving licence and utility bill will be required.)

·         Rental Scheme Application Forms are available in the shop, or are downloadable in PDF format from the link below.

·         We reserve the right to refuse the rental scheme.

·         The instrument, while on rent, will remain the property of Perfect Pitch Music Shop.

VAT FREE SCHEME:

We offer a scheme where parents can buy a musical instrument for their school age children without paying VAT.
The following conditions apply to take part in this scheme:

1.   Your child needs to attend an educational establishment that takes part in the VAT Free Purchase Scheme. Most State Schools and County Music Centres are involved with the VAT Free Scheme.

2.   Your child should receive music lessons at the establishment or local Music Centre.

3.   The instrument needs to be ordered through your local Music Centre as opposed to the shop directly. (Local customers in close proximity to the shop often purchase their VAT free instrument through the Amersham Music Centre.) Please note that an administration cost may apply so it is worth checking this with your local Music Centre/educational establishment.

4.   The instrument must be for use in lessons provided by the County Music Service, and the pupil for whom it is bought music be a full time student.

5.   The instrument must be appropriate to the student's needs and ability.

6.   Any problems with the instrument are covered under the manufacturer's warranty and will be dealt with by the supplier, not by the Music Centre.

7.   The exchange of the instrument needs to take place on the educational premises.

If you are unable to speak to the child’s teacher directly for a recommendation of instrument (i.e. make and model), the staff at Perfect Pitch are very happy to go through the instrument choices available and help you find the instrument to cater for your child’s needs.

BUY BACK SCHEME:

You may wish to purchase an instrument, at our discounted price, on the Buy Back Scheme.

You can purchase an instrument at our price with the option of returning the instrument within six months of purchase. From the day of purchase the instrument is your property, unless returned. This means that if you decide to keep the instrument, there is no further cost to pay.

If you choose to return, we will reimburse 75% of the original amount paid provided the instrument is returned in good condition.

For example, if you were to buy a Trevor James 10x flute for £265.00, and return it within six months, we would refund £198.75

Please note that this scheme applies only to instruments purchased in person from the shop, and not via the internet.
